Old Navy Twill - Purple
Old Navy Twill is a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton fabric with a small, fine diagonal weave. It is heavier than galaxy twill, and is close to light denim (240-245g/m2).
Uses: This is an excellent option for light jackets, skirts, pants and garments that need structure without the weight and heat of typical jacket materials. We used it for the shirt and pants of our Ouma cosplay!
Width: It measures147cm (58 inches) wide and is sold by the meter. Cuts longer than one meter will be done in one continuous piece.
Care: Fabric can be machine washed and dried. Fabric will wrinkle and soften a little after washing, and ironing will be required. To reduce wrinkles, hang to dry or dry clean.
Sewing Tip: A serger is recommended when working with this fabric. Alternatively, you will want to use some type of finishing for raw edges, such as seam binding or pinking sheers. Pre-washing is recommended. Needle size 12 for most projects, 14 if there are several layers.
NOTE: We carry the most popular colors, but if you need something not listed, please contact us!
Due to differences in screens, all colors are approximate. Different types of fabrics with the same color name may be different shades due to the manufacturing process. Please inquire if this could be an issue.
