Heritage Cotton - 224 Orange Pop
This beautiful, soft 100% cotton fabric is a medium weight fabric (150 gm/m2) that is very soft and drapes well.
Uses: This a high quality fabric often used in quilting and Lolita dresses. It will create full ruffles, but will not be suitable for garments with many layers of ruffles (it will be too heavy).
Width: It measures 110cm (43 inches) wide and is sold by the meter. Cuts longer than one meter will be done in one continuous piece.
Care: Fabric can be machine washed and dried. Fabric will wrinkle after washing and ironing will be required. To reduce wrinkles, hang to dry or dry clean.
Sewing Tip: You do not need a serger to work with this fabric, however you will want to use some type of finishing for raw edges, such as seam binding or pinking sheers. Pre-washing is recommended. Needle size 12 for most projects.
