36" Medium Weight Felt - Hunter Green
This 100% polyester medium weight felt ( 365g/m2) is approximately 1/8 inch thick. It is has a tight weave and can not be pulled apart easily.
Uses: This is an excellent choice for making patches (either machine or hand embroidered). We also use it as a base for making large panels, with classic felt sewn on top to create the design. This is how we did the front panels for Mercy Devil and Remilia!
Width: It measures 91.4cm (36 inches) wide and is sold by the meter. Cuts longer than one meter will be done in one continuous piece.
Care: Felt should be spot cleaned for best results. Patches made from this felt and sewn onto garments can be hand or gentle-cycle machine washed, however, do NOT use heat to dry (hang to dry is best). Felt can be ironed on medium heat, from the back, with a protective cloth between the iron and felt.
Sewing Tip: This fabric requires no finishing on the edges, which makes it possible to create intricate designs! Needle size 12-14 for most projects.
