Scuba - White
This soft 100% polyester fabric is a medium weight fabric (215 gm/m2) that is very soft and drapes well.
Uses: This fabric has a great drape and is very easy to work with, making it a perfect option for lightweight capes that LOOK thick and will not require a lining. We used it to make the bolero for Elise!
Width: It measures 150cm (59 inches) wide and is sold by the meter. Cuts longer than one meter will be done in one continuous piece.
Care: Fabric can be machine washed and dried on a cool setting. Wrinkles are minimal - hang to dry to prevent them.
Sewing Tip: You do not need a serger to work with this fabric as it does not fray. If you are in a pinch for time, you can just cut and go! If you do finish the edge, however,your garment will look cleaner and last a little longer. Needle size 12 for most projects.
Due to differences in screens, all colors are approximate. Different types of fabrics with the same color name may be different shades due to the manufacturing process. Please inquire if this could be an issue.
